COMPAS
Beginning In June, 2014, Dane County Department of Human Services began utilizing the COMPAS risk assessment to help formulate case planning and service recommendations. The COMPAS assessment is an evidence based tool created to measure risk for recidivism in juvenile delinquents. It is accessed on-line in a secure website and provides outcome data in several forms to help assess risk of re-offense, assess which criminogenic risk factors are attributed to an individual youth and inform the social worker in working to create an individualized case plan.
